Account Deletion & Personal Data Rights

1. Your Right to Data Erasure

Under Section 12 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to request the deletion of your user account and erasure of your associated personal data when the processing purpose is no longer necessary.

2. How to Request Account Deletion

• Via Customer App: Navigate to Profile → Settings → Privacy & Account → Request Account Deletion.
• Via Email: Send an email from your registered email address or phone number to privacy@murliganjlocal.store with subject "Account Deletion Request".

3. Deletion Processing & Statutory Retention

Upon verification of your identity, your active account will be deactivated within 48 hours. Personal identifiers (name, mobile number, GPS addresses) will be scrubbed from active marketing databases. Historical tax invoices and accounting records will be retained in encrypted archives for 8 years strictly as mandated by Section 36 of the CGST Act, 2017.
